Brew'd Awakening Coffeehaus poured coffee for ten years before it started roasting its own, and Tiny Arms began roasting on a Loring in January 2022, the year after it was established. Lowell's coffee story
Brew'd Awakening Coffeehaus opened in Lowell in 2005. For its first ten years it served coffee roasted somewhere else. In 2015 it began roasting its own, which turned a coffeehouse into a roaster and put the roasting work inside the city.
