Karma Coffee is one of the beloved local roasters we follow in Massachusetts: an independent roaster based in Sudbury. Here is what their own pages and public sources say about them, in our words.
Their story
A small batch roaster that runs its own cafe in Sudbury and roasts coffees bought from select growers around the world. Bags come in 12 and 16 ounce sizes, and each listing shows a recent roast date and tasting notes. Ethiopia dominates the list, with lots from Harrar, Sidamo, Gera and Guji, alongside a few coffees from Peru, Colombia, Guatemala and Mexico.
Among the rarer offerings are an Orange Bourbon from Peruvian grower Aiko Cruz and a Pink Bourbon from Finca El Mango in Colombia. The house espresso, Espresso Karma, also comes decaffeinated, and there are decaf single origins from Ethiopia, Peru and Colombia.

Single origins on the list when we checked: Ethiopia Wush Wush Natural, Ethiopia Worka Sakaro, Ethiopia Washed Guji, Ethiopia Harrar, Ethiopia Sidamo Durato Bombe, Ethiopia Gera, Peru Orange Bourbon Aiko Cruz, Colombia Finca El Mango Pink Bourbon, Colombia La Fortuna, Guatemala Las Moritas and Mexico Ozolotepec. Espresso: Espresso Karma. Decaf: Decaf Ethiopia Sidamo, Decaf Peru, Decaf Colombia and Decaf Espresso Karma. Offerings change with the seasons, so this is what their own pages listed on 2026-09-28.
