Their story

Michael Dovner was 20 when he began selling coffee from the back of his Monte Carlo in 1979. The family-owned company has all five Dovner children working in it, and it has taken in other labels such as David's Gourmet Coffee and Gold Star Coffee. The South Easton plant holds SQF, USDA Organic and Fair Trade certifications and is kosher approved, according to the company.

Its stable of acquired labels also includes Caravan, Premier Coffee, Araban Coffee and Tropical Coffee. For restaurants and offices it installs kegerators for cold brew and nitro coffee, and it now offers organic kombucha on tap as well.
