Their story
Bond sells monthly subscriptions and single 12 oz bags, and the two owners hand-deliver orders to homes in Marblehead themselves. Several roasts are tied to Marblehead stories, such as a dark roast that points buyers to local lore near Old Burial Hill. Adam and Chris live near each other in Marblehead, and the company grew out of evening conversations and weekend get-togethers where coffee kept coming up.
Prices follow a neighborhood buying model: the more Marblehead households that sign up, the lower the per-bag price gets for all of them. The owners say they buy from farms between 1,200 and 2,000 meters up, for now mostly in Central America and East Africa.

House blends include Soleless Shakedown, Amelia Payson House blend, Regiment Roast, Festival Blend and Wake with Drake. Espresso: Nunnepog Fog, built on a washed Guatemala from Finca Medina in Antigua. Offerings change with the seasons, so this is what their own pages listed on 2026-09-28.

Why buying from Bond Coffee matters here
A limited roast sends $10 from every bag to the Marblehead Family Fund to help build playgrounds and gathering spaces for local families. Customers in town can also pick up their monthly bag at Local Noon, a shop at 92 Washington Street downtown. Soleless Shakedown is a nod to the 1993 film Hocus Pocus, in which the character Max loses his sneakers to two bullies on Old Burial Hill. Regiment Roast honors Glover's Regiment, the Marblehead fishermen and sailors who carried Washington's army across the Delaware in 1776.
A Festival Blend made with the Marblehead Festival of Arts sends $25 from each bag to the volunteer-run event, which is marking 60 years.
